Approved by Shanxi People’s Government, Yuncheng Vocational Nursing College is a higher medical vocational college under the direct leadership of Yuncheng Government. It grew out of Yuncheng Health School founded in 1970.

The school offers majors in Stomatology, Nursing, Midwifery, Laboratory, Imaging, Rehabilitation, Optometry, Acupuncture and Massage, etc. It has a total enrollment of more than 6000 student, who come from 14 provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) of China.

The school has a distinct school-running characteristic, with Nursing as national training base of urgently-needed talents, Nursing and Rehabilitation as key majors of Shanxi higher vocational schools, Stomatology as backbone major of Shanxi higher vocational schools, Nursing, Laboratory, Imaging, and Stomatology as practical training construction base of Shanxi higher vocational schools.
