Yimin Middle School is a project for the benefit of the people, carried out by Yuanqu County Party committee and Yuanqu County government, in order to solve the schooling problems of emigrant children of Xiaolangdi reservoir area. Currently, there are 36 classes, with 12-track system. The total enrollment of students is 1799. It has a faculty of 140 teachers. z

The school carries out “Excellent Education” under the educational philosophy of “Let Everyone Have the Opportunity to Be Excellent” and the target of “Educating the Most Brilliant Student at Nearest School”.

It has taken “Everyone is the leading role, everyone has a platform, and everyone has the opportunity” as the connotation of “Excellent Education”. Relying on “excellent curriculum”, “excellent management”, “excellent teachers”, “excellent classroom”, and “excellent evaluation”, it is striving to realize its educational target of cultivating talents with comprehensive development in moral, intelligence, sports, aesthetics and labor education.

Yimin Middle School has taken “home, people, emotion” as the footstone of development, and “quality-oriented education” as main reform direction. Yimin girls’ football has won second prize in “Winter Sunshine Sports Competition”, fourth prize in Shanxi Campus Football League, and the first prize in Yuncheng Campus Football League. Various club activities of the school have been reported by provincial and city-level news media.
