Guowei Minzu Restaurant specializes in local halal dishes, mainly providing with Jinnan five-spice-stewed beef, halal steamed vegetables, Pinglu oil-splashing noodles and braised noodles.

The beef in the noodles comes from Jinnan cattle, a local specialty in the Southern Shanxi Province. Jinnan cattle, with dual offering as food and labor force, taste firm and springy. The noodles are made from local flour planted on the Loess Plateau, having an elastic and chewy flavor.
